Meets every Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 am
Meet and learn how to identify the snakes of the San Francisco Bay Area while learning foundational biological concepts and meeting science standards for each grade level.
Includes:
Six 45-minute interactive virtual learning sessions with live reptiles led by experienced educators and biologists on Zoom
Hands-on activities
Pre-recorded video, guided activities
Science vocabulary
Detailed description of the 4 most common Bay Area Snakes
Meets NGSS and Common CORE standards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade

We are professionally trained biologists and educators in Bay Area wildlife. We understand the biodiversity, inhabitants, and threats to our local wildlife. Our Neighborhood Snakes program is a reflection of this understanding and a commitment to the youth, families, and wildlife of the Bay Area.
